How did you first come across Streamtime?
Contrapositive first came across Streamtime whilst thumbing through a copy of MacUser. At the time we were desperately seeking a high quality studio management solution that could help us manage our web, video, multimedia and design for print related projects, and help us grow the company to the next level. The advert seemed to provide the answer to our prayers.

How did it compare with other solutions you had seen or heard of?
We’d been using another FileMaker Pro based system which purported to take the stress out of the studio for about a year. Having spent many long and stressful hours trying to get this system to work we reached the exasperating and costly decision of giving up. Our need for such a system hadn’t altered and so moved over to Streamtime with some trepidation. Our fears that it looked too good to be true, that it too would be difficult to get to grips with, work the way we did, or be capable of simple calculations were almost immediately allayed. The system is so intuitive that with only a minimal amount of training, we had the system up and running to our satisfaction in a very short time.

What do you most like about Streamtime?
The software is so obviously designed and built by people who understand the wants and needs of a small but very busy creative agency like ours. From the logical workflow to the clear and easy to understand user interface, it makes the more mundane everyday tasks of estimating, project management, timesheets and accounting a much more enjoyable experience. The support team have also been very helpful in the transition process and in getting the best out of the software.

What has been the greatest change in your company since utilising Streamtime?
It reduces the stress of running our agency rather than adding to it. All members of the agency from director to account managers to designers and programmers to the bookkeeper can now see and understand what the agency’s work and customer base looks like at an instant. It provides a better understanding of our clients, better pricing integrity, tighter control of project and staff work flows, integration into our accounting software, and robust reporting for planning our business’ future.

What would you say to someone looking for a solution like Streamtime?
Having researched and used the leading studio management solutions on the market, we can say that in our opinion Streamtime is without doubt the best available. It offers good value for money, does what it says it can, is stable and the customer and technical support is responsive, friendly and effective. The software frees us up to do what we do best and helps us to make informed business decisions, improves studio and work flow efficiency, helping us to be the best we can be to our clients, suppliers and staff.
