“We love the interface, It's well thought out and logical, and does exactly what it needs to do."
Danielle Huthart, Founder

How did you first come across Streamtime?
Earlier this year in May 2008 I had been desperately researching project management systems and then came across Streamtime in Creative Review. I was having lunch and flipped through the magazine and found their ad. I put my half-eaten sandwich down and sent an email to them right away. The first person I spoke to was Aaron Green, who called me from London. I was hugely impressed.
How did it compare with other solutions you had seen or heard of?
I had contacted a few but they told us we were too small, that their systems were built for teams of 10 or more, or else they were hugely expensive and appeared too corporate in nature. There was very little encouragement and it forced me to keep looking for the right solution.
What do you most like about Streamtime?
We liked the fact that it’s built by creatives for creatives. We love the interface, and how easy it is to use as well as the practicality of the whole system. It’s well thought out and logical, and does exactly what it needs to do. All the demos and tutorials were very clear and it was affordable. The other great thing about Streamtime is their team. They’ve got great support and follow-up. Most of all they care about the product they’ve built and the people they’re helping.
What has been the greatest change in your company since utilising Streamtime?
It was like quenching a thirst. We’re a small studio but we needed something like this for so long. It makes me shudder to think about how we were operating before. We were still paper-shuffling and handling our administration in an ad-hoc way. Once we got through the training and had it up and running, it allowed us to focus more energy on the creative work that is the heart of our business.
Our account manager Adrian Ma says, “We no longer need to check with each department on the status of jobs, quotes, and timelines. All the information is on Streamtime for the entire team to reference. Since the system is linked to our internal network, all changes are updated and reflected instantly.”
Overall our productivity has shot up and there are less inconsistencies. We’ve been able to issue quotes quickly, track projects clearly and ease the work-flow throughout the studio. Truthfully our accountant is probably the most relieved.
What would you say to someone looking for a solution like Streamtime?
Dieter Rams has said “Good design is honest and innovative. Good design makes a product useful and understandable.” Streamtime is a real solution and lives up to its promise.
