Updating Tax Rate
In the coming months both the New Zealand and UK Governments will be changing their GST and VAT rates respectively. Here’s how you can update them in Streamtime.
To update your tax rate in Streamtime go to Setup > Administration > Invoicing
If you scroll down the screen you will see an area called Tax Codes
Simply click in the Rate column and change the percentage
Trouble Shooting
If the tax rate doesn’t automatically change try re-issuing your branch with the Tax Rate
by reselecting it in the drop down menu
and then re-assigning your client to your branch
and finally re-assigning your client to the job
NOTE: If you’ve already started to create an invoice before you changed the tax rate, which hasn’t been sent to the client, then you’ll need to reselect the tax code against each line item of the invoice for the correct tax rate to be calculated.
